I feel like Rozzi’s fireworks is the perfect setting to start a novel! A diverse group of characters untied in their shared goal to blow stuff up! Please write this! 😂
I feed my baby in her baby carrier so have fed her literally all over town. Can't think of any weird places but I do multitask while doing it so have probably been regarded as weird when casually carrying a tray of tea and cake to a table while she's latched on, for example 😂
I once pumped in a hospital staff room. A nurse walked in and complimented me on my output, which was nice of her I guess 😅
I love this image of the tea tray while nursing. And in a weird way I would have loved a compliment about my output. It is such a visual and visceral reminder of how “enough” you are.
It's so true, looking back now, though at the time I was reeling from being unable to breastfeed him 'from source' (I had severe nipple trauma due to an undiagnosed tongue tie) so it always made me sad when I had to pump/when it was acknowledged. Having nursed two more babies since I can look back with kinder eyes and be proud of myself for that work, but at the time it didn't feel so great (my output was impressive though, I could feed the 5000 with these things)
while getting my hair done at a salon because it took wayyyy longer than it was supposed to 😅 my hubby actually had to drop the pump off to me. so embarrassing 🙃 but at least there were only women there to witness it!
Haha, these are so good!! Okay here’s some of mine: Nursed in a quiet corner at a college friends wedding while caterers shuffled behind me / nursed while camping in the great outdoors / pumped at the Phoenix airport / nursed while daughter was in my carrier and I was on a (short) hike / self expressed in the car driving to Boston because I was engorged and in pain and did not have access to a pump / pumped while on a work call / nursed a million times in our parked car.
An office at the ballpark (the "nursing" room which was really someone's office); bathroom stalls all over the place including a bathroom at an Infant Mental Health conference because that is what the hotel offered which the ridiculousness of that was not lost on me. Another event room at a hotel that was a space for like 400 people with me huddled in a corner hoping no one would enter. The convention center in DC. There was another nursing room at a hotel for a conference that was beautiful and actually for nursing/pumping. It's all blurry now...4 kids over 8 years so I know there are lots of places...
I think that apart from pumping in other people's houses (you can't help it, can you?!) and when out and about, I pumped during online meetings (using a hands-free pump), when I didn't plan my diary well!
With breastfeeding, many of the above situations included sitting on the grass in a field where there was no bench to sit on, and in all weathers—literally—rain and snow! Or just walking around the shop with the baby in my arms and feeding (because you can't schedule it, can you?).
Ha ha ha ha hopefully your post still got delivered!
I had a wonderful massage therapist who came to my house postpartum. My oldest opened the door on their first visit and told them, “welcome to our house. My mom usually has her boobs out and if you tickle her too hard she’ll tinkle.”
Dunkin Donuts Drive Thru! (Probably traumatized the young girl who took my order!)
Nope you just gave her a good preview of what she’s in for.

What a great idea! Will start on character development now.
My brother’s unfinished basement (picture a garage/woodshop) before a bike ride. And I have the photos to prove it!
I can see the spiderwebs and smell “basement.”

Pumping up the hair volume while pumping. Brilliant.

The times I have leaned over a sink to self-express…
Ha!!! Love it

The bathroom at the Infant Mental Health conference!!!!!!!!! Who planned that?!?!?!
We’ve come a long way and yet...
I know. It was sad and hilarious. The 2nd part of the conference, I couldn't handle the bathroom so I switched to my car.
Oh the truckers who’ve been treated to my teats as I have pumped in the car all over Cincinnati…
What a great post!!!

Grass in the field!
Toilets while on a night out
With my first son days old, I opened the door to the postman with the baby attached to my boob.
I never saw him after that.
